Click onSecond Seating, at this moment in time. It'll take you to two dozen new photos of works in progress by participating artists. Lots of color, lots of excitment, lots more to do. Here's an image of Jesse Sifuentes' coffee mug buffet table.
Remember that banquet table at Second Seating? There were conversations overheard around that table and you can listen in with your copy of "Overheard at Second Seating." Preview this special little book's contents and order for gifts at www.blurb.com.
Second Seating: Where, When and What
Second Seating Yes, Second Seating is really over. Closed after Art Crawl on November 21.
However, if you find that you can't live without a painted plate, a coffee can chandelier or a totem made with cast off crockery, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Second Seating was open September 25 - November 7, 2009 and for Art Crawl, November 21 at 20 N Chenevert in downtown Houston, just blocks from Minute Maid Park.
Off to Rome. Will send missives by way of this blog and multitudinous postcards. Do we have your address? If not, please email us.
I have no idea what sort of travelogue this will be. Everything I see or do will be absolutely new to me. Bound to have a lot to write about.
Meanwhile, back in Houston, the urban design project on which I am collaborating will continue on for a time without me. My garden is becoming unruly and the air still has way too much ozone.
I am leaving all of this behind. For a while.
Sweet family in the Pacific Northwest, you are in my thoughts. Wonderful friends in Houston, I miss you already. Everyone, have good days.
